Malaysia Gold & Jewellery Trade Exhibition 2025

To act as a global platform for designers to communicate and share creative ideas.
To support new designers, professional designers, and the public that is passionate in participating by providing an opportunity to present their designs to local and international audiences.
To provide the designers and crafters with a platform where they can showcase their talent, compete with their counterparts internationally and win recognition and awards.

Submission deadline : 15th May 2023
Eligibility : Anyone
Product Requirements : Full set of jewellery designs inclusive of necklace, bangle and ring design
Concept of Product : Contemporary
Participants can either submit an original design created and composed on 3D Design software or submit a design rendering made by hand or 2D Design software.
Submission MUST BE in JPEG, PNG or PDF format, at least 300dpi and 210 x 297mm (A4) in size.
Hardcopy will only be required from shortlisted participants.
All information required in the application form must be filled in.

The panel of judges includes PGWS Association members and PWGS Trade Fair Organizing Committees Also participating in the judgment process are combinations of experts of the association and industry.

The best designs are selected according to form, functionality and emotional aspects of the product; the designs are considered for their degree of innovation, balancing, creativity, marketability, and topic relevance.
Both luxury and daily-usage designs can be submitted.
Only entries fulfilling all the competition criteria will be selected as winners. Therefore, if entries do not conform to quality, there may not be a total of 6 winners.
Awards Presentation will be held in PWGS TRADE FAIR 2023; scheduled on 9th to 11th of June 2023 at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, Malaysia.
An official participation certificate will be given to all participants.
Winners’ selection:
- ONLY 5 winners will be selected for this category.
- Special Cash Prize : RM1,000 each + Certificate

The association shall have the rights to document and exhibit all shortlisted designs for two years after Award Presentation at PWGS Trade Fair 2023.
Any jewellery manufacturers who aim to market the winner’s artwork are required to contact the PWGS Association directly. An MOU will be signed between the PWGS Association and the interested party with full IP belonging to PWGS Association.

Participating in competitions will allow students and graduates to showcase the product of their skills and talents. This will help them to achieve their professional goals.

Participation in competitions will strengthen their resume. A talent is recognized during these types of events. Internships will be the best way for students to get their dream career and to kickstart their career path as an international jewellery designer.
To introduce Malaysian jewellery industry players to the educational system of the country.
The Malaysian jewellery industry may be able to pool its talent by organizing this event. It will become an event that will gather all talented jewellers in Malaysia. Through education, jewellers will become more systematic and goal oriented.

    - 3 Consolation Winners : RM 200 each + Certificate

The association shall have the rights to document and exhibit all shortlisted designs for two (2) years after Award Presentation at PWGS Trade Fair 2023.
The winner’s artwork can be produced by any jewellery manufacturer through the consensus of the PWGS Association. The MOU will be signed between the PWGS Association, the interested party and UiTM. The full IP belonging and ownership to UiTM.
